The art of falconry is the hunting of wild quarry in the natural state and habitat by the means of a trained bird of prey. Although this is no longer practiced on the scale and necessity it once was, hunting with Hawks and Falcons is alive and well across the world, and in modern day falconry alongside the traditional flying there is also a huge focus on education and allowing opportunity for people to get hands on with the birds and learn about them. 

​Falconry is an ancient sport that can be dated as far back as 2000BC and possibly the oldest field sport. It was during the middle ages falconry was brought to Europe and was described as the sport of kings.

The aim of Speyside Falconry is to use falconry as a natural and sustainable method for Bird abatement work. 
Having a lifetime passion for birds of prey we pride ourselves on a natural approach and the success of long term sustainable results.
